Anyone ever buy/use a performance chip from chip your car?

Never have and never will. I would never trust one of those plug in and go "performance" chips.

Get a programmer (SCT X4, nGauge, etc.) and tunes from a reputable source (5 Star Tuning, MPT, etc.)

I had a "Superchips" plugged into my old 1999 F150 4.6 V-8 and it all did was require the use of premium 93 fuel to use it. It was all B/S..

I have chips in my cabinet. I brought them in the house from my TRUCK. They do not increase my performance though.

I would put these 1 step below " canned " tunes, & something to avoid..
