Default Check Your Side Window's

I guess you need to look at every tiny little thing before you purchase now days. Not sure if this damage was done at the factory, or at the dealership...but glass is something that shouldn't have been repaired, it should have been replaced IMO. Maybe they didn't want to hold up the purchase waiting for parts??? .

Now the felt lined seal is making squeaking noises when I roll up the passenger window, the window must have shaved some off the seal, as I can see some missing.

Bummer, now I have to deal with warranty work. I think I'll wait for the cooling lumbar seat fix before I take it in. Besides that, the door seals around the front doors needs minor adjustment to fill out the top corner near the headliner better.

That sucks. Seems like quality control is going down the drain. They need to slow down production and actually pay attention to what they are doing.

Ew, sloppy patch job.

Mine just came in and I'm aiming to sign for it this weekend. I'll be sure to have my list of stuff to check.

SunStoppers of Lake Norman does all my tinting. Rob does excellent work.

Did you notice the damage before or after tint?

After a little more looking and poking at it this afternoon, I'd say it most likely came from the factory that way. It's like the center layer was squished out in that area...the material is soft and flexible. Yet, there also looks like there is some of that same binding material missing on the inside of the window.

I just noticed it yesterday when I rolled down the window a bit to clean the upper most portion. I really never looked at the seam of the window before yesterday lol.
Tint guy's in the clear.

Well, the window would be a laminate with a plastic component in the middle, so from what you said it sounds like that's screwed up. Is it just excess sticking out, or? If I follow you, it sounds like there's a gap in the glass?

I have noticed this but not to that extent. when looking at the window edge you can visibly see the layers of glass. You can see glass-film-glass. I don't remember ever seeing that on any door glass before. I just thought it was kind of weird.
