Default Check engine light

I'm freaking out here. I changed my stock muffler yesterday and drove for 50 miles with no issues at all. Few hours ago I removed the grill to plasti dip it. I put everything back together, backed out of my garage and noticed the "Check Engine" light. What the hell could it be?

The truck is 2 weeks old with less than 400 miles.

Any help would be greatly appreciate it.

I did reconnect the two plugs I had to disconnect to remove the grill. I made sure I plugged them back in. I guess I will check them a second time.

Thanks for your reply.

If they wont, Autozone and Oreilly will.

How'd you fix this B.H? I took my grill off today and back on and my check engine is on too now. I disconnected and reconnected the shutter plugs too but still have the light...

I would try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few minutes and see if the light stays off.

Tried disconnecting the battery as well, but no luck. Truck's too smart for its own good... I will take it by advanced or autozone and get them to clear the code with their scanner if that's what it turns out to be. Thanks for the advice though

Did you ever find the solution to this? I just did a grill swap and the check engine light came on for me as well... ugh

Thanks for your reply.
Did you by chance, turn the key on, or start the engine with those 2 plugs disconnected? Even though you reconnected them, if the key was cycled on, or engine started, the shudders will self test.
