Default Check Engine Indicator

Approaching 16,000 miles. Yesterday my check engine light illuminated. The MyTruck screen shows nothing. Oil has been changed regularly. Dipstick looks good. Coolant level fine. Gauges good. Wondering if there is a code lookup procedure to see what the indicator is trying to tell me.

Thanks.

Look at your warranty documents, it explains everything. Some items covered up to 80,000 miles.

It could be anything, take it in and have the codes pulled.

Auto Zone, O'Reilly's, Pep Boys (ugh!) can read the code and tell you what it is and what the common causes are.

I took the dive into FORscan and discovered it's an EVAP issue. Will head to the dealer some time this week to have it repaired.

Thanks all. I'm now spending too many hours figuring out this FORscan thing.
