Poster earlier in this post said that SCT X4 made a update to adjust the BCM. Anyone know the truth?

I have 2 X4's (1 from 13 ecoboost SOLD, 1 from 14 5.0 SOLD, both returned to stock)

Also purchase a HyperTech 742502 (have not used yet)

Do not want to tune my truck with 300miles on it, but I will if it saves me from a pointless $200 Calibrator

So, instead a of a pointless 200 buck calibrator you'd prefer spending closer to 500 on a pointless tuner that has a calibrator, especially if you have the 5.0?

Why do you think the tuner would be pointless?

Was the same for me.

Do you people read? I have 2 X4s from previous trucks. The hypertech would be a worthless $200 if the SCT i already own can do the trick

I read, and you said you already bought a HypertecH, so as worthless as it is you still bought one?

From what I've seen on programmer results for the 5.0 I wouldn't bother. The calibrator will save you money.

You never asked what my 2016 was.
Larait 157" wheelbase, FX4, 3.55, 3.5 ecoboost. The tuner would not be pointless, but I would prefer not tuning. If i could return hypertech and save $200, I would tune my ecoboost. If hypertech is only thing available to adjust bcm, it would not be a waste of money

Yes it will. Go the the SCT website. There was a firmware update that added the tire size programming that was released a few months ago.

a quick google search wouldve cleared it up. http://5startuning.com/2015-2016-f15...ection-update/

If you want to let go of one of those X4 tuners for cheap let me know.
