My dealer scrolled right through all the settings in front of me and there wasn't a tire size setting they could touch. Given that I already told them I'd pay for the calibration, I doubt they would have declined easy money with the laptop already hooked up to my truck.

Probably not even worth worrying about. I have 35x12.50 18 and they are just a shade under 3mph at 60mph. Not enough of a difference to worry about. If I goto 37" then I'm sure I would recalibrate.

Livernois offers the same product:

There was a firmware update to add the tire size adjustment in the SCT x4 earlier this year. The livernois and hypertech correct the speedometer using the OBDII port as well.

Totally stock, just verifying the accuracy from the factory.

You are correct with regards to the OBD port, for the 2015 and newer trucks but the devices don't communicate with the ECM.

Ford moved the calibration files for adjusting the wheel size and speedometer out of the ECM and into the ABS control module, hence the need for a different device. The same would be true for the 2015 and 2016 Mustang.

That technology was licensed to select vendors for a specific time period and that period hasn't expired yet. It isn't a case of an just a tuner update.

Buy it. Calibrate. Return it.
