Hey everyone, first time poster, long time scroller. Firstly, I just wanted to say hey, and thanks for having me! I purchased a 2018 F150 3.5 XLT about a year ago and so far it’s been… well, not completely terrible? I do love the truck, I just wish it loved me a little more sometimes .
Side note: I am actively a part of other car forums (VW Vortex & Audizine) as I very much like to tinker with the 2006 Audi S4 that I own as well. So I’m well versed in the “search before you post the same dumbsh*t that 857 million other people have” rules, or you’re going to deservedly get roasted. So just know I extensively searched Google and this forum and couldn’t find anything (although that likely boils down to my terrible search abilities, but I swear I tried! lol) before I posted. Anyway, I’ll shut up and get to the point!
So I was just changing a burnt out low beam bulb on the drivers side of my truck when I noticed this orange wire with a male connector hanging freely with no clear place for it to be plugged into. The connector has what looks like a ‘T’ and the numbers ‘13544’ printed on it. (See pics below) What is this? Is this just some extra auxiliary wire that plugs into something on a higher trim model? Or should this be plugged into something important? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
And again, thanks for having me. Happy to be finally posting and interacting with everyone.
