Changing as built data to remove auto start stop

Have you asked the builder? Back in my day, a piece of black electrical tape did a good job covering a light, but I agree, best to program it out, light is nice to show other faults as they occur. Maybe try a forum where the guys mod transmissions etc (I'm thinking a mustang forum?)

This same symptom happened when someone swapped a newer-gen trans with A/S/S and reused the old *** valve body.

I don't think he ever got it turned off/tuned out, he just clicks the OK button every startup. I wonder if it's part of the solenoid strategy.
