Default Changes for 2019?

Anyone know if there are any worthwhile changes for 2019? I have not been following too closely.

I had hoped for improved headlights for 2018 but never materialized.

Read of a refresh for 2020 but my sweet spot for trade will be on a 2018 now or a 2019 next year.

Looks like a new rear bumper and exhaust outlets on the high end trucks.

Thanks

Nothing. I had a thread on this topic a few days ago. A few months back someone stated they would be changing the door latch/locks - but nothing concrete. It's gotten warmer out in much of the country so Ford could care less about that issue!

Should I understand that they haven't changed the latch/locks since 2015!? My 2018 has not arrived and I already don't like it if that's the case. Freezing door latch/locks is sooo lame. Ford should be ashamed of this; I know I was when it happened on my 70k msrp (CAD) truck.

Part numbers may have changed - but it seems to be the same part. There is a LENGTHY thread on this issue. Mine was fixed by the TSB in the winter of 16/17 - but then it got warm out. This last winter, 17/18 - started to have the same issue. All latches changed out, but then it got warm out. Not sure if I'll have this truck again come next winter time. Very close to pulling a trigger on a new Ram but F150 is cheaper since Ram has not rebates. Did I mention my washer sprayers froze up again this past week!?

I wouldn't anticipate a substantially changed model until 2021, based on a 6 year cycle. If they move it up to 2020, they're going faster than ever before. But I guess the truck market is hotter than ever before. Ford will look "old" in 2019 due to new GM and Dodge trucks, but will be the cutting edge truck again when the newest Ford comes out. Same with computers, cell phones, guns, anything, there's always a newer/better one coming out later. Gotta buy the one you like and go with it.

I don't know about that. I still think the 09-14 12th gen trucks still look good. And Ford is usually so far ahead of the competition in capability and features they stay competitive even as they age. The new 2019 Ram and GM twins are going to have the capability and features of a used 2015 F-150.
