Question Changed Wheels and Speedo Off

I have a 16 F150 XLT SCrew 2WD that came with the standard 18" PVD (265/60/18) wheels to the 20" 6-spoke (275/55/20) wheels. Now my speedo is off, what are my options?

I did the same thing and fixed the speedo with forscan. Just take a look at the forscan thread for instructions.

Actually the dealer cannot adjust the speedo on these new trucks. I tried last week and ended up buying a Hypertech to adjust it myself. Once you use the Hypertech it's "married" to your truck and cannot be used on any others. Forscan would be the least expensive way to correct your speedo.

I find it hard to believe that the dealer says it can't be done, yet it can be done with Forscan.

well believe it...

The dealer can no longer adjust for tire size or gear ratio on 2015+ F150s with IDS software.

I was told they can as long as it's a stock offered tire size

They did mine today @ no charge. They updated mine to 275-65-20 Stock size which measures 34.3 tall. I have 295-70-18's measuring 34.5 and it's .02 off Close enough. @ 65 I'm going 65.02. Any dealer can do it up 34.3" tire.
