Default Chains again

So has anyone yet discovered a set of chains that will work on the rear end of our trucks?

Technically Ford only wants us using S Class chains on the rear tires only.

That said, I've never done that. I've always used full chains on both axles similar to these:

Every time I've used them my shocks have sustained cosmetic damage to the shock cover, but that's it. I would caution on using them however because they can take out a brake line if not installed well.

I have chains similar to the ones in the above link.

They fit fine on the tire, while in the garage. Seems to offer clearance. I have not seen how loose the chain will be when rotating at any speeds though. They seem like they should fit okay. I'm not sure why Ford recommends not using chains, unless for the thought mentioned above with taking out a brake line.

I've used that style titan chain on a jeep grand cherokee, low speed, they were loud as **** because they are banging around. I would want to buy the s class chains even the vehicle didn't require them.
