Center console tray

Looking for ideas on stopping my center console tray from sliding back and forth when turning. I already tried double sided tape and it wouldn't hold. I'm definitely not going to put a screw in it either.

Clean the area with alcohol then use 3m velcro, leave it sit over night before using
If temp is cold will need to sit longer to dry.

Paper binder type clip - black clip with flip around wire pry open type clips. Old school type that will bind like 30 pages together or a small piece of two sided foam tape
