Weird question...I may be the first 2015 F150 owner with this question.
I was cleaning the crumbs out of the shift boot area and the thing just collapsed down. I fidgeted with it for about 10 minutes and can't get it set back in place. The boot has tabs on the perimeter that lock into slots on the black trim piece. I assume I'll have to take the silver trim piece off to access the slots better and then deal with it? Anybody have any ideas?
Problem solved. After more fidgeting I was able to run my fingers around the edge of the boot and snap it back in place. Good thing too because I was having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to get that silver face cover off.
