Default Center Console question

I have a 2015 xlt sport with the 302A package. My center console cover is made out of the hard plastic material. I notice the 16-17's have a nicer leather/vinyl material on the center console. Does anyone know if I can just buy the cover and not the whole center console piece that I've seen for sale?

Dealer doesn't sell just the cover, you have to buy the assembly lid so the under piece, the cover, latch, hinge etc and it isn't cheap.

I'm in a similar boat with needing to replace my vinyl cover and am out of luck.

Maybe consider having a leather shop make one for you.

Don't think they're OEM, but eBay has material cut to shape...can always DIY. I know some of the seat cover folks (Katskin and clazzio) have ones for the third seat console cover. Might make the other one too

http://www.redlinegoods.com/F15015shiftboot.php

I used this company for a custom shift boot and arm rest cover for a past vehicle. I believe they can even send you samples of their materials so you can try to match things the best you can. It looks like they are needing a template for the 2015+ F-150 products so if you can afford to go without it for awhile you might get a pretty good deal.

I reached out to them last night offering mine. Mine isn't installed yet so I can do without.

So do the covers from katzkin or other companys just go right over my
existing center console? Just wondering if it they do if it would seem too big with that setup.

I would imagine that they would just go right over your existing console. Hopefully it wouldn't require removing the top or disassembly, but I have no experience putting them on the F-150. I know the armrest console cover on my Mazda was a pretty tight fit. However, you wouldn't really want it to be loose or it might constantly shift around or fall off.

So it turns out they are in Poland and you have to cover shipping to them. They also want you to pay $70 which is refundable after you post pictures and help them market.

Not sure I'm alright with sending my arm rest all the way to Poland.

You could also try a salvage yard, see if an F150 with the cover you want got totaled.
