Default Center console

Hello, new F150 owner here. I have a 2015 2.7L Ecoboost Crew Cab with a center seat in the front. The back folds down into an arm rest with cup holders. There is a padded section to the arm rest for, well, resting your arm! Mine does not open into a storage compartment. Mine is cloth and I worry about long term, will skin oils start to stain/discolor the arm rest. Do any of you know of a cover I can put on it? Most I see when I search is for the one that opens. Thanks!

My last truck I bought a couple towels the same color as my interior and kept one on the arm rest at all times. The truck is a 2002 with 200K miles now and the arm rest still looks great (better than the window sill). And it's nice always having a towel handy for wiping off your hands or whatever.

My new truck has a black interior and it's ruby red so I am using a burgundy towel and it matches very well.

Thanks. I'm thinking of doing the same. I was just interested to see if anyone had seen a made to fit option.

My old work truck, previous gen XL with the cloth armrest/center seat folded down. That truck was and prob still is operated 24/7, with that center acting as a table as well as arm rest. The fabric was worn thru the left side of the driver seat from the constant entry/exit, long before I stopped using that truck, but the center armrest never showed any sign of wear or excessive dirtiness/staining. It held up well.

I drove my '04 FX4 for 11 years with the console you are talking about and the cloth looked good. My son now has it and I still think it looks great. BTW - I'm not a fan of the "Sport Cloth", but it seems to hold-up.

Check out this thread, you can buy the leather armrest that includes the storage compartment and add it to yours. Some of the people already have the storage and are just doing a straight swap but others have the same set up as you and were able to add it.
