Default Cell phone mount

I got a 2016 and looking for a cell phone mount. I got an old garmin mount that sits up in the dash cutout but it bounces all around on some of these crappy city street s when I am working. I bought one on Amazon made for the F150 and it snapped on, but couldn't hold the iPhone 11 in the Otter box defender case. I was looking for something better, but most of it all seems like junk.

What is anyone using that works good?

Looks like a nice system but $105 shipped seems like a lot.

What are you using it for that you need a mount for it? Do you not use Carplay\AA? Where would you like to mount it? WIndshield\Dash\Console? I had this one in my old truck that plugged into the 12v and charged it:

Now I have this in the console and just run the usb to it for carplay:
Amazon Wireless charger Amazon Wireless charger

I have a proclip USA mount and I love it. It’s solid and out of my field of view. Plus it’s near my hand for when I need to use it. I leave it plugged in and use car play primarily. Only works with a center console with a column I think. The base is separate from the phone holder, you can get whatever holder you need to attach to the base.

I do not have car play and have the more simple Sync display and it only connects via bluetooth for music and phone. I use it to hold the company phone for directions while driving.

I had enough looking around and just bought the Proclip over the dash mount where the phone will sit over the top of the air vent on the right of the steering wheel. Ram and the other versions were all going to cost $100, or so. I didn't want the magnetic mounts and I liked the one that mounted to the dash and had the angle bracket out, but didn't want to take the dash open or Dremel it.

I made a similar thread a couple months ago, check out some of the suggestions made there (https://www.f150forum.com/f118/sugge...hesive-520902/) and then on my last post you can see the one I linked to that I finally went with. Can confirm it is very strong (pro series with extra magnets) and holds my Max-sized iPhone in an OtterBox Defender case very firmly in place.

Another option.
Check out the dash mount from Built Right Industries. BuiltRight Industries Dash Mount | Ford F-150 & Raptor (2015-2020) F-250/F-350 (2017-2021) - BuiltRight Industries
You can use RAM mounts to mount your Garmin, and your phone - or whatever you want. Very clean way to mount things to the dash (will also hold tablets). I have one for my Garmin there. Can easily add and accommodate a phone too. Pretty much endless options.

Those Dash mounts were my next option on my list.
