It's just a faulty cat. There is nothing you could do to a modern vehicle to blow a cat that fast. If you were throwing a rich code, and had an injector stuck open causing it to cook the cat then maybe. Past that, just a fluke. We replace them all the time for random defects

Default 2023 Lariat CAT

I recently had my truck in the shop 3 days after I bought it. It has 69,000. Had to bring it in with the maintenance light saying it’s the CATs. So they did a TSB and cleared it got one CAT to 0.293 and the other to 0.2578. Not even 2 weeks later it’s back on again for the CATS. The service guy is trying to tell me they are going to run the test again and clear the code rather than replacing. What should I do here?
