Default Cargo lights

If you are working inside the truck doing whatever, and need to leave the door open, the cargo lights stay ON. Is there a trick to turn them OFF? I tried the switch but they won't turn OFF as long as the door is open.

My 2016 interior lights will shut down but it is a fairly long time before that.

I think the next best thing for you aside from waiting -FORScan to enable dark mode. It is an on or off thing though, noting you can control without using FORScan to reenable the stock configuration.

Thanks. I'll take a look at Forscan dark mode.

Use a wooden dowel and flip the door latch to the closed position. Make sure to keep the dowel in there to remind you that you did that, or the resulting noise when you try to close the door will give you serious butt-pucker.

Nice trick. I'll definitely try this. Thanks.

I do this often, since repetitive noises like "reminder beeps and bongs", seriously trigger me. I'm extremely auditory sensitive and they send me into a blind rage, almost immediately. We all have our flaws, I suppose.
