Turning cargo lights off with door open
Anyone know how to get the cargo lights to go out while the doors are open? I like to play the radio from my truck whenever we hang out around the fire or when camping. It sounds way better with the doors open obviously. But I cant figure out how to get the cargo light to go out when the doors are open.
The interior lights have the override button so no problem there. But the cargo light button will only make the cargo lights stay on with the doors closed, but not the other way around.

I like to back the truck up to the fire/ crowd and open the doors, that way the speakers are pointing at the people, huge difference in sound quality. Plus you don't need to have it cranked up so far so easier on the speakers/ battery.

You won't be doing that anyway as the truck's Low Battery saver will kick in and cut it off.

The truck is an XLT. I don't have sliding rear glass or a switch in the bed.
If the battery goes dead I'll charge it. I just want the light off so its not shining in everyone's eyes and so the battery will last that much longer.
Thanks

You won't be able to play the radio for an extended period. Battery Saver prevents it. And if battery died you would have to retrain trans shift pounts, etc.
