Anyone else have an issue getting the button for bed cargo lights to work?

I know per the manual that it won't work over a set speed, but I was in park in my garage and it would not come on.....

I have the button in the bed for the bed lights/ cargo light, but was curious if there was something else I was missing to make this work?

 

Mine works fine. It turns on the cargo, bed lights, hitch light and puddle lamps. The truck may need to be on for it to work. I have never tried it off.

 

I haventnused the button, by the foglight button. As if I need the cargo or bedlights on, Im in the bed of the truck!

 

I don't often need the cargo light when in the truck, but would like to know that it works if I need it to.

 

I use it all the time to help coworkers get there gear into the bed when it's dark out.

I always have the truck running when I do it. I don't have puddle lamps or the led bedlights, but my button only turns the white lights by the 3rd brake light.

Probably an easier way is to just crack the door open instead of searching for the tiny button.

 

Mine works even with the truck off, LED lights come on too. Mine's a 2015.

 

Were you able to find a solution? I'm having the same problem except my button was working fine before and now when I press it, no green symbol shows up in my dash.
