ok, i don't want to clutter firerunner build anymore ( sorry man ) so ill reference it https://www.f150forum.com/f78/fireru...6/#post5412953 and keep it going, comparing pinouts it looks like my '16 xlt 302a is only missing 4 wires from the main harness

The one I'm thinking of has the Pinout for the taillight connector itself. I don't have the FSM on this computer to screen shot it. c408?
Anyway, you will only need to add the CLS 54/55 wires and the 13A409 tailgate harness and you'll be good to go wiring wise for BLIS.

I'm pretty sure your stock 14405 harness should have both the CLS 18/19 and 23/27 wires in it. When I was researching my BLIS swap I thought about repinning the 23/27 wires to be the 54/55 outage wires but I ended up changing the entire harness because I wasn't confident I could move the pins without breaking them.
When I get home, I'll take a look at the 14405 harness I took out of my truck to see if it did or did not have CLS18/19 in the C405 connector. I only have pics of the tailgate side of the C405 connector on my phone and the Non-BLIS 13A409 harness definetly does not have CLS 18/19. You shouldn't need to modify the 13A409 harness at all.
If you have the truck handy, can you take a picture of the back of the male C405 connector?
I brought my '66 thunderbird to work today ( finally got it back after a month at the shop! ) so I won't be able to take a picture until I get home after midnight
Maybe I'm getting confused
Cls 18/19 - stop and turn signals on bliss led taillights
Cls 23/27 - stop ans turn on halogen taillights
cls 54/55 - bulb outage detection on bliss & KR led taillights
54/55 can be defeated with Forscan I think ( same way people make hyperflash go away? )
