Default Cam phaser issues on 2020s ?

I have a 2020, 3.5 ecoboost, build date Feb 2020, currently 23k miles. No issues or sounds, just curious if anyone with same year and mfg date timeframe has had any cam phaser issues? I've really not heard of any issues on 2020s

Curious as well. Mine was made in June 2020. No issues here either.

I’ve been doing some research on this as well. From what I gather, there have been two revisions to the cam phasers in the Gen 2 3.5 GDIT. The 1st revision came in July 2018 (PN “CC”), 2nd in October 2019 (PN “CD”). CC was supposed to resolve issues seen in the previous. I’ve read that CC’s rarely fail relative to production. The CD revision “eliminated” the chance of the issue (plastic pin engaging to lock out the phaser on start up until oil pressure builds) all together. You’ll see people that have had their phasers replaced numerous times but it’s possible the replacement parts were prior to CD. Your build dates would suggest that you have the newest cam phaser installed. Hope this puts your mind at some ease. As others have said, you can go crazy researching the issue. Your better off just driving your truck, doing your maintenance and enjoying it.
