Default Cabin Filter replacement

I'm going to change cabin air filter.. Do I remove just the glove box door or the whole thing?

Here's a video I did showing the procedure. It seems more complicated that it should be, but it really doesn't take more than 15 minutes.

The real question is how the heck do you remove the wood trim panel on a platinum without damaging it?
