Cab marker light questions?
Hey everyone,
This might be a dumb question but I am going to ask it. I have a 15' F150 Platinum w/the dual sunroof setup. Is there still enough room at the front above the windshield to have cab lights installed??
Have any of you had that done and if so do you have any pictures of it?
Thank you!!

There is room. Everything mechanical for the sun roof is on the sides/back, nothing up front. Just make sure the hardware you or your installer chooses to use is compatible with aluminum.

You can try the Super Duty forum also. There have been some that have added the OEM lights to the SD. Since the 2017+ is the same cab as the F150, they should fit.

When the new body style came out quite a few guys had leak issues with the factory clearance lights, so some were even opting to add aftermarket lights just to avoid that. Something they found is that the factory put square/rectangular holes in the roof for the new design, so don't use the Ford factory lights...unless you are good at cutting out squares. Pretty much all the aftermarket clearance lights require a round hole..which is much easier to make with a drill.
Good luck.
