JB4 2018 F150 3.5 ecoboost
Hey guys. I recently bought a 2018 F150 with a 3.5 ecoboost. I was looking into plug and play options for some more power and was very surprised to see that Terry and the guys at Burger motor sports recently added a JB4 for Ford trucks. Last year when I got my Infinity Q50 red sport I found these guys on the Infinity forum and decided to give their JB4 a try. I absolutely love it. 4 plus boost over stock (map 1) made my car much faster and doesn’t leave an imprint on the ecu. When I saw the JB4 for the ecoboost I pulled the trigger immediately and installed it a few days later. It’s amazing! Totally different truck now. Just as smooth as stock but with likely 40 + more HP on map 1. Trucks spins the tires now if I floor it at 25-30 mph. I like driving the truck now almost more than the 400hp Infinity. If any of you are looking for more power without risking your warranty, JB4 is the answer! Absolutely awesome truck now!

Also I have Bluetooth adaptors they sell in both my vehicles. I logged data using the JB4 mobile app connected to the Bluetooth on map 1 (4+ boost over stock) and map 2 (5+ boost over stock) on 93 pump gas and the graph looked perfect. Using Map 1 for everyday driving and it’s awesome. Really woke the truck up!

Really happy to see this!
I've got a few years under my belt with BMS on two different BMW engines. Big smile off of both immediately. Not sure if Infiniti is the same or if it will be for Ford but you can swap maps and play with other features through the steering wheel controls.

Great to see new products coming to market that give options to folks who do not wish to run the risk of flashing their PCM's. Fwiw, I tried from what I can tell a very similar product when I first got my 2016 called the JMS BoostMax (Some folks refer to theses types of products as "boost foolers").
I did notice an increase in performance but after a few hundred miles it threw the wrench and sent my truck into limp mode. They only way I could resolve was by removing the unit. Apparently that issue has been resolved with an update but it didn't inspire a ton of confidence.
Sincs then I went with a full tune from Livernois and couldn't be happier.
Would love to hear more feedback as more folks get a chance to test the Burger products out.

I had a JB4 on a BMW a few years ago and loved it...I’ll keep an eye on this thread to see if any issues come up. Definitely in the market and interested in this one though....Dyno numbers would be nice and of course reliability is always a concern with a new product.

Here is the thread over on N54tech, everyone seems to love it and they are not new to the game by any means! They only offer the JB4 now for the truck (not JB1)

I had the JB4 on my BMW and loved it. The cool thing about it was I could turn it on and off from the steering wheel. One of the problems with it was, and not really a big one, that you had to upgrade the plastic charge pipe due to it getting too hot and splitting.
