Got the rears installed yesterday, as I've read here, the fronts suck to install, lol. Gotta run to Home Depot and get some plastic putty knives, I tried one I had in the garage, but it was a pretty wide one for plaster and ended up snapping the corner off. That dang rubber is tough! I did notice it has clips to hold it in place, I got the farthest outside clip off, by accident. I'd hate to break one of those, or loosen all of them. I'd bever get that back on with the bumper still attached.
Here is the rear I did yesterday, Bed liner coated.

Before you do the front, make sure they sent the spacers for the middle piece with yours. They forgot mine and I had to email them. They then sent them in a regular envelope.

Those little rubber washers to add to the bumperette's? I did get those in a plastic zip-lock bag. When it said you may need to add another layer of double sided tape, I did not get any extra, but then further down it said it may already be added from them if you ordered all 3 front pieces, so I hope it is already on there. Hard to tell, it might be a little thicker on there than the rest.
Well I am an IDIOT! I had the front end cap on about 75% of the way, stopped to get some plastic putty knives. Fast forward about 2 or 3 hours... Forgot I had left the test fit end cap on, drove to CVS to get an RX that was ready and darn my luck, it fell off and I did not hear it. Found it after I got home and realized what I did. It got ran over.
It's not scuffed at all, but the upper outside lip is bent. I think I can still fit it on, it is the part that goes under that plastic I got the putty knives to help lift up. If not, guess I'll be ordering another driver side end cap..

I knew I should have driven the wife's truck!
If it's just bent, hit it from the back side with a heat gun. Not too much or the bed lining will soften up. You should be able to get it formed close enough for the double sided tape to do its job.
I would also make sure about the extra piece of tape on the center piece. I had to apply mine, and if you don't have it, the only thing holding the center piece on will be the little tabs and the center trim of your grille.

I tried heating and re-bending it with a hair dryer, but it didn't work, the top edge was too curled over, and the top outside corner was cracked. It is close, but not close enough. I may try to trim some of it tho, and then add a little extra tape where they don't have any and see if it will fit enough to use. If a little chrome shows, I can tape it off (like they show in some YouTube videos on GMC), or even plasti-dip it. It would be the top, where it tucks under that plastic wedge thingie between the bumper and grill, so may not be too noticeable.
Wife said, well, maybe we should get a new front bumper. I've never found one that is compatible with a winch and the intercooler however. My plan was to get a winch tray, that does work with the intercooler in it's stock location.
How my truck looked about a year ago when I first got it. Too much chrome for me but the price was right. Couple months later got rid of most the chrome. New grille, found some SE rims and tires local to me, also found some oem running boards painted magnetic grey. Then painted front and rear bumpers with plasti dip (anthracite). Ran this combo till a couple days ago, plasti dip started to lift on front bumper in spots. Picked up bumper shellz had front end caps and rear painted to match truck and got gloss black for front center to match grille. Little on the pricey side but liking the outcome.
I emailed Eccologic, and they felt bad I screwed up that piece, and made me a really good deal on a replacement. Ordering it tomorrow, but will be a little while before I install it, feeling lazy. Always nice to order from a family owned business.
That black+blue looks awesome. Nice job. I've been pretty happy with my bumpershelz too -- took a LONG time to get it after order.
Thanks. Yeah mine didn't take to long to get after ordering, the company here in Canada that sells them had everything I was looking for in stock. Took about a week for shipping.
