I'm really interested in the bumpershellz for my 2017 F150. I'm in New England and my front and rear bumper are starting to get a fair bit of rock chips that have begun to rust. I got quoted nearly $800 for clear vinyl wrapping, so the bumpershellz are about half the cost. My question is, should I have the rust spots repaired and painted before I apply the bumpershellz? Or would that be an unnecessary step? Thanks
I can say this, once they are on they are very secure. If you ever take them off, if you have any lose paint, it will come with them and make whatever damage you have worse.
Here's pictures of my truck for anybody interested in the bed-lined shellz. I had the honeycomb of my grille and the tailgate letters sprayed with Line-x and they match perfectly.
Literally just ordered the center front bumper shell piece in and texture a few hours ago. I have a white sport with the raptor grill so going for the nice extended black grill look.

I have an Agate black rcsb and got a quote of $250 for vinyl wrapping my bumpers.
Compared to $660 for front and back gloss black bumpershellz
Seems like a no brainer to me as I can just spend another $250 in a few years when the vinyl gets all chipped
Just weighing my options
Your quote for the Bumpershellz are way high. Off the Ecoological site both front and rear Gloss Black with shipping is $450. I got mine 20% off during last years Black Friday sale.
