Bumper Rust
I did PPF on my bumper, grill, hood and fenders a couple weeks after getting the truck. So far I see a lot of damage to the film that otherwise would have been fudup paint.
However!! One piece of rock or salt or whatever happened to make it to one thin little area on my bumper that the film didn't cover, and yep, got a rust spot there! GRUMBLECUSSWEAR!!
A few nice hot sunny days and the film will heal itself, but will need to get in there with some touchup paint and fix that one tiny spot right above the opening next to the license plate.

Excellent, Thanks.
BTW, adding the paint protection film saved a LOT of the front of my truck. I gave it a good wipe down last night and the film is all full of chips from the rocks and rock salt this past winter. Every one would have been paint damage instead. Still found a few tiny nicks on the hood, but nothing like what the Red Devil looked like in the same areas. There was definitely something wrong with the paint on that truck.
A few hot days in the sun and the film should settle back and smooth out, at least thats the claim from the manufacturer.
