Put it right in the trash. If you're going to spend the money go with a reputable tuner.

I had one on my '03 Dodge turbo diesel
It was a great addition - at least up until I sold the truck
I have no clue if there are better things out there now though

Bully Dogs are good for older diesel trucks but not for an ecoboost. Get an N-Gauge or a Cobb Accessport.

I have more experience with boosted flat fours than with trucks... but as far as I'm concerned, it's more about the tune than the tuner.

I have a Bully Dog BDX tuner and a tune from OZ Tuning. I've used the tuner all of two or three times in as many years. It loads a tune and then lives in my glovebox. It does exactly what I need it to do.

I bought one used and put the 87 perf tune on my 19 5.0 take off is noticeable quicker and has no problem passing people running 80.

Bullydog BDX and SCT BDX are the same, just one has red bolts and the other blue bolts, both made by SCT. Only gripe with mine is the brightness does not adjust from day to night, but it gets the job done.

I have been using a Bully Dog on my 2020 lariat. Octane, tire size, sport mode, CAI, etc... I like it all. I was very happy with the increased performance. I get a couple codes thrown at me, but easy to clean up with the tuner. I do agree with the comments above that the tuner doesn't really matter, is the tune.
Tune it and enjoy. Don't forget to learn ForScan, so you can get rid of all the annoying bells and warning. You can also shut off the awful auto stop. Whoever invented that, should be slapped.
