Hungover employees? nobody likes working mondays? Now, this isnt meant to say that ALL workers are lazy and careless and so forth. In my particular case, I bought a monday truck (without knowing) AFTER the 4th of July weekend. Thats definitely a day you want to avoid, IMO.

No matter what you only know the final assembly date. The day they put together the engine or transmission is actually more important.

Ordered December 29th and built Monday February 8th. Took delivery March 3. I couldn't be happier. Truck has been perfect so far at 4600 miles. A/C seats work really well especially last week in Laughlin Nevada at 115 degrees. 2.7 engine is awesome towing. Mpg driving to Yosemite was 21.8 with cruise set at 68. Towed my sea Doo 1st time traveling 675 miles and averaged 19.7 miles to the gallon, cruise was set at 63( Ca speet limit towing 55mph).
Both trip I drove as smooth as possible to see what I could get. Love this truck!

Is this typical or are these sitting on lots for specific reasons. Thanks!

I think the 04-08 Gen is also good provided you stay the hell away from the 5.4.
