Default Brighter "back-up" while in reverse bulbs WANTED

I would like to install brighter back-up light bulbs in my Platinum to light up my driveway more when backing out the driveway in reverse.

Can anyone recommend the brightest bulb possible this new truck will accommodate? I see a lot of post on guys installing new headlight and fog light bulbs, but how about for the rear?

Ask your dealer what the superduty uses. I have had 3 150's with rear cam and were fine but my 15 250 rear camera is sick! Clear as crap and bright

On the truck I have now, still waiting for my 15 to arrive, I mounted some cheap aftermarket driving lights under the rear bumper. I couldn't see backing up at night while plowing. Some of the other guys at work did the same thing for the same reason. I tapped into the backup light wiring. My lights weren't that high wattage so it worked ok and didn't melt wires or blow a fuse. If you go with something real powerful even if it's just high powered bulbs, you should consider adding a relay and heavier gauge wire back to the battery, using the original reverse light circuit to activate the relay.

I'd be surprised if you found a bulb that actually was brighter.

Most likely you'll need extra lights mounted.

My 15 is much brighter then my 12 was. I had swapped out the stock 12 ones for LED. 15 is still brighter .

Well you guys will figure it out I guess, go ahead a waste your money on LED bulbs, but the real fix is a pair of lights that have real output.
