are you planning on doing the work yourself?

If so, please be sure to put the parking brake in maintenance mode to prevent damage to the rear calipers and possible personal injury.

I am running EBC brakes, slotted and dimpled rotors with yellow pads on my Whippled 16'. Kind of expensive, but they work well, I also had a set on my Duramax.

I have about 2000miles on them now, they are a little bit squeeky when cold or light braking. I followed EBC break in procedure.

Last set of power stop rotors and pads, I believe the z36 or what ever number the towing one was were ****. The wore out fast and the rotors went to ****. Like 25k and I was buying new steel and pads. I don't drive like it a car and I don't tow massive weight, plus I have trailer brakes. I found a good premium rotor and quality pad your good to go

Just an informational comment you may want to know!
On the 10 speed trucks with the Wet/Snow shift control mode, it uses the ABS system to modulate the rear brake action for max traction.
If the replacement pads do not have good >>cold grip friction<<, that function may not work as well.
For me, it's a priority in Snow.
In this mode you do not use E lock or it defeats the special traction function. E lock will switch off over 25 mph in any event.
Bottom line for this is to use OEM pads for cold grip performance if you care about it.
Good luck.

So I did use OEM pads for the rear and I just received my Powerstop brakes and rotors for the front from rockauto. Z36 type. Hopefully they last longer then 25,000 miles. time will tell.

EBC seems to be the way to go, I have researched PowerStop until I was blue in the face, apparently, everyone I have spoken to said, rotors and pads aren't bad, but stay far away from the powder-coated caliphers. Also, their customer service was really lacking, I had 2 of the shops that PowerStop recommends here in Orlando tell me, they wouldn't recommend PowerStop for me, they mentioned EBC or brakeperformance.com for a cheaper option, they said that brakeperformance.com has much better customer service than power stop and has a lifetime warranty on their Rotors.

Where did you buy your EBC brakes?

Almost 40K miles on my Z-36 Powerstop brake pads and rotors, front and rear.

They have been excellent and show little signs of wear. Far less brake pad dust than any others I've ever had.

Given my experience I am very surprised with any/all negatives reviews.

If/when I need brakes, I'll be buying them again.

I used this website to find my application/part number
https://www.shopebcbrakes.com/

Then I found them on Amazon, I used Amazon because of the free shipping. I live in Alaska and the shipping can be painfully expensive. Your shipping from them might not be as bad.
