I don't really know enough about race trucks to comment but I have never seen a square tubed frame? I thought they are normally constructed from round tubing.
That's a serious kit and a pile of work to produce and assemble into a truck!

Yeah I’m following along @ErikTreves and his build. Seems very interesting as I love the other stuff FF makes.
I’ve been following that build, it’s very interesting.
If I win the lottery, I’d give it a shot!
I had the same thought, it’d be an option if your truck got wrecked but the right parts were intact.

Went up to Cape Cod about 20 + years ago and brought back what they now call a Roadster kit.
I had an 85 F150 Super Cab long bed, back then pulling a barrowed trailer.
Last run the Roadster at the Pocono International Raceway, Long Pond, Pa., last fall.
Has a modified 5 L pushrod fuel injected engine and a 6 speed.

The hood and middle part of the fenders look like a lift-off piece without hinges. Don't know how it attaches to the frame and where it mates with those hood air vents could be part of the problem, especially if the truck pictured is just a prototype.
