Default Box Link keys

does anyone know if the keys for the box link cleats can be ordered from Ford based on the code stamped on the lock cylinders? I just picked up a CPO 2015 Platinum and the box link keys were nowhere to be found. Apparently, the previous owner did not turn them in when he traded it in.

And if they can't be ordered from Ford, does anyone know who manufactures them for Ford? I may have better luck dealing with them directly.

Drop by a lock smith they should be able to cut the keys with the codes. Grab a friend's key if you have one around and it will make the lock smith job that much faster and cheaper.

They are the tie down cleats for the box link system... they look like boat cleats on a wharf.

check out this thread...if your local parts guy can't figure out how to order them, have them give the parts counter at Veterans Ford in Metairie, LA a call. They won't order them for you over the phone, but they should be able to inform your parts guy how to look them up.
