Default Box Link?

Just bought a new 2020 XLT Sport Crew with 5.5ft bed. It didn't include box link, although it looks like the holes are there for the mounting base brackets. Was my truck supposed to come with the brackets and tie downs? I thought it was standard on thennew trucks but I could be wrong. Also, for those that have it, do you like it? I saw all needed parts are available for purchase on Amazon. Thanks guys.

They are optional on XLTs and come standard on Lariats and above. So some XLTs have them and some don't depending on if you or the dealer checked the box for the $80 box link option when the truck was ordered.

It's about $100 for the plates and the anchors/cleats (set of 4). You can get them anywhere including Amazon.

Wow thanks so much for the quick replies gentlemen. I'm most likely going to order it, seems like a great way to add more anchor points for ratchet straps, bungees, etc.. Do you guys that have it, like it? Find it useful?

I bought an OEM set off of Ebay for roughly $30. I would try there first. I use them all the time, and they are well worth the money.

Mine have held up fine in the Florida sun. I use them all the time as anchor points but being modular doesn't interest me much.
