Default Borla

Borla. I had my other car getting inspected. I saw a Borla Exhaust sign so asked the guy if they had them in stock? Yes was the reply. So I kept seeing, and hearing on youtube the Touring, the S, and the Atak. Also saw a few where the Atak was removed and replaced by the Touring. Also saw where guys were buying kits to DIY. Still the kits were in the 800 to 1200 type range. Yikes! for me. I really didn't feel the need to go Dual, I just was looking for the V8 rumble a little bit. Also a black tip with a rolled edge would look nice. Soooo I asked the question. Was told 300 bucks.??WTF? So sure enuff, I got a Borla Pro XS, with the black rolled edge tip, for the grand total of 278.56. Let me tell you I am VERY happy. Love the sound, the look, the price. I will do a video and post if I can figure out how.

Can you post a picture of the muffler as well? Happen to know the part number they used?

I did not think they sell the muffler separate from the kit (to make $ of course). Guys around here seem to run the Borla XR-1, model 40085 OR the HD Truck Muffler 400436.

I would guess that they probably swapped the muffler with the Touring equivalent and put a black tip on it. Either way, sounds like a fair deal.

I kind of did the same. I just had the S-Type muffler welded in and was in about 280 bones out the door.

I'm looking to do the side exit dual black chrome. Just not sure if I want the touring or S-type. I don't want it too loud. Just want it to sound nice when I get on it. I have 3.5 Eco. What are your guys thoughts?

Mine is touring but a 5.0. Here is a pic to reference the look. Iove mine. Not too loud but enough sound to notice.

Did you do the whole bolt on system or just muffler and tips? Looks Good!
