What’s involved in installing a boost gauge in my 2018 Lariat with 3.5 EB? I’m talking about a real gauge in easy-to-read psi (Autometer or similar), maybe mounted on the A pillar. Have any of you done this?
Why not a tuner with a good set of display options? A whole selection of gauge displays and a tune to go with it.
I use a GTX with primary boost/vacuum displayed along with IAT2, Spark advance/retard, OAR. A large selection from single to 12 separate indicators per page.
Plug into the OBD port and hook the cable, mount the display. KM
I hadn’t thought of an Ultagauge, mainly because I recently sold a turbocharged Miata with a ScangageII that didn’t show boost. Ultragauge will work for me if I can just decide where to mount it.

You can put ForScan lite on your smartphone for $5 and use the screen to show you any sensor you like. Analog, digital, or both. You can show one (and blow the display up really big), or put on several. I put a phone mount on my windshield next to the A-pillar and voila!
I use this more on my Escape so I can get engine temp, transmission temp, system voltage, and gear indication (what gear the tranny is in instead of just a "D"). When my throttle body went on my F150, I could get all the codes it threw live as they came in. That way I could tell the stealer what was happening because they were clueless.

Stupid question, how does the data get to the phone?
