I have sync 3, why when I play Spotify or Pandora through the stereo via Bluetooth or USB cable the volume is not very loud?, I have the volume all the way up to 30 in the truck and the Media volume all the way up on the phone (GS7) and its not very loud.

 

There are other volumes hidden in the phone. I recommend downloading an app from the Play Store called Volume Control + Pro. It puts all your sliders up together for ease of access.

 

I have the same phone and sync 2 in my '15 and do not have this issue. Is there perhaps an input volume separate from main volume in the sync3?

I do not use any app in my phone. Only the media volume

 

There are no hidden volume controls, There is Ringtone, Media, Notifications, System and Sync volume controls.

 

I went through every option in the truck, there is no input volume control.

With the app I suggested, this is what I see instead...

 

 

With my phone, the volume up stops at about 75% and prompts / cautions about loud playing with headphones. I accept the notice and can turn the phone volume all the way up.

 

Yes mine does the same thing and I turn it up all the way but then I turn my radio all the way up to max 30 and its not as loud as when its the radio or a cd.

 

I have all that with out the app, everything is turned all the way to max.
