I have a F150 (2019) xlt. Recently the blind Spot stopped working and it says it is off on the dashboard. I want to turn it back on but can find no directions in the manual and even the dealership seemed confused on how to get it turned on. Any help is appreciated.!

 

Should be in the settings in the instrument cluster--start going thru the options!!

 

Goofy question. Are you on your original battery? Any other electrical hiccups?

I didn't realize they could be turned off..

No - nothing changed - just all of a sudden it says "BLIS Off" and they dont work. They light up when I start truck, but thats it.

 

tried that - nothing there

 

Are you still under warranty?

 

If it shut off on its own, it has a problem. Did you check the tail lights to make sure you have no moisture problems. Maybe a bad ground under the rear of the truck. If the dealer looked at it, they should have DTC's of some sort which give an idea why it shut off. If it just lights up, I imagine your talking about the light in the mirrors, that's all they are is the indicator, its testing the lights.
