Default Black out

Hey guys im trying to go for full black aggressive look on my truck, the only thing sticking out like a sore thumb are these headlights, any ideas on how to make them blend in with the full black look? Ive tried tinting them but that completely hindered the lights and looked kinda ugly, any ideas on the head lights or the truck in general?

Here is what it looked like with and without the tinted head lights

Nice truck. There have been guys that have been able to remove the lenses and black them out. I'm not sure on the process, I'm sure a more knowledgeable guy will be glad tell you the how to on this. Or I believe you can send them to Rator Retro and for a price they can black them out for ya

The process involves removing the whole headlight assembly and baking it (enough just to soften the glue that holds the lens to the headlight housing) You can also use a hair dryer if the headlight assembly is too big. Once you seperate the lens from the base, you can take the headlight apart and paint the housing. Most important thing is to properly seal the headlight after or you will have condensation problems.

There are tutorials you can view on Youtube.

Nice truck BTW, I'm thinking of a similar blacked out look when I get mine.

I noticed how Ford pulled the blackout lights from the lineup in 2015. I'm sure they will introduce them in 2 years again, similar to what happened in 2011.

Not sure I like the idea of Ford pulling the option away, only to reintroduce it again to excite people with a small refresh...

I may not be sure, but I think you can only black out the LED ones. I believe you need the reflective inside for the Halogen to reflect? Would seem to me you would need to upgrade to LED and then have them painted. (I think you have the halogens)
