Bilstein + Spacer ??
Maybe the wrong place to post but I have researched and haven't found any info on the 15-18 models. I have a 17' F-150 Crew and I am wondering if i can run the Bilstein 5100 or 6112's on the 2" setting and also run a 1" or 2" strut spacer to achieve a 3-4" lift?? Does anyone know if this can be done? Any info will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance
I see ready lift offers a 3 1/2" kit that allows for 35's. I would prefer to have the 6112's over the ready lift sst kit with a 1" spacer or 2"... but if it will ride like crap i want nothing to do with it
^^^^^ This.
Around 2.5" is the max for a level or your CV axle angles will be too extreme.
That 3.5" Readylift kit is more than just the spacers. They include some other components that are supposed to help with the CV angles. Not sure how it works, but my point is they did try to address it. It's not just a 3.5" level.

I Went with a 3'' spacer on my previous truck and I could sometimes feel the suspension travel reaching its maximum when going over speed bump. This is no good!
The problem you will have is suspension binding at droop travel.
You can go to 3” but 2.7” is the max without binding or bad cv wear.
