Default Bilstein 5100 update

For those wanting to purchasing the FRONT Bilstein 5100 shocks I spoke directly with the factory people in Germany. Unfortunately that model shock will not be ready to ship until mid Feburary. I guess that probably means March before distributors in the USA would have any in stock?

Extremely disappointing for those of us that want/need those front shocks but nothing we can do except wait or find an alternative. One vendor suggested spending about 800 bucks for another product. I said to him.... and that was end of that discussion!

I went with the Eibach kit from Stage 3, which I'm very pleased with. They were about $50 more than the Bilsteins and seem extremely comparable.

Yes the 5100 front shocks can pretty much level out the truck. According to many users they also improve the handling and ride of the truck. I have the rear shocks already so I'm going to install them next week. Just have to wait for Bilstein to get their act together and get the FRONT shocks manufactured and shipped to their distributors.
