Is the general conception here to just get 4600s (not lifting or leveling) on the rear and install yourself in under an hour? What is the general result of this.. with not adding any weight in the bed, does the double/triple hop vanish and feel more planted?

Lastly, any links/videos on how to do the install?

Yeah, I keep reading the 4600s and 5100s are identical for the rear less the coated shock shaft, do it won't make a difference for your application.

I don't even notice this rear end hop everyone complains about and think the truck rides just fine stock, but all this talk on the forums about shocks got me to order a set of rear 5100s anyway. Being a skeptic, one of the ones who thinks the stock truck rides fine and a fan of floaty rides, I'm curious to see what I think of the 5100s.

I am curious about this myself. I'm running stock in my '17 but I'm a bit of an odd one I'm afraid to get a stiffer suspension.

I can not stand rattles and shakes and I'm honestly more of a fan of a lighter ride so I'm a bit afraid to go to the Bils to be honest.

Night and day difference with my truck. 5100s rear only.

My 5100's will be here tomorrow and hopefully it will be the best $154.00 spent on mods that I do with the exception of the window tint.
Thanks

I've had the 5100's on the rear of my 2015 RWD SCREW for a year now. Best $140 I've spent on a vehicle in a long time. The stock shocks are garbage and the Bilsteins are much more planted to the road and stable
