Which is better
Hey all,
I'm new to the site, but I figured this would be a good place to go for a few perspectives
I'm looking at buying a 2015 F150, but am having trouble making a decision
I'm looking at 2 trucks with the XLT sport package, both are 4x4 with 5.0L V8
Option 1 has:
156000km/97000miles
hard folding tonneau cover
bed liner
heated seats
large dual sunroof
power back window
6.6ft box
$30 000 (Canadian dollars)
Option 2 has:
144 000km/ 89500miles
no tonneau, no liner
2 small dents
5.5ft box and none of the features listed above
$27 000 (Canadian dollars)
I know this is something that could vary from person-to-person about whether the $3000 and extra 12000km/7500miles is worth it or not, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to hear some more input from people with first-hand experience.
$27 000 was right at the top of the budget for how much I'd like to spend, but I am concerned that I may really regret not having those extra features 5 years down the road.
Thanks in advance for the help

I bought a 2017 XLT Crew Cab 5.0 last May in 5.5 box configuration with the least amount of bells and whistles I could get as I truly figure the less options the less that can go wrong. I absolutely love the truck but am finding I am missing some things like heated mirrors and a locking differential (even though I don't off-road). If I knew then what I know now, think I would have ponied up and gone with the next step up in either the Sport or XTR trims.
It is easier and less expensive to get what you want when buying than it is to add the features later (at least here in Atlantic Canada).
