Suggestions? Does it matter? I use Colonite cleaner and 454 on my ignition silver. Can I use those on Ruby Red? Thanks!

I use various waxes and spray waxes and they all seem to work just beautiful on ruby red, Meguiars ultimate liquid wax is the best overall. Easy on and off. The Professional version is the Meguiars #21 synthetic sealant 2.0

 

I've used Collinite 845 on both my Ruby Red Mustang and F150 and have had no problems. I do get a lot of compliments on them.

 

Wax is wax. Vehicle color doesn't matter. The collinite is perfect.

 

Reflection and depth are in the paint prep. If your prep is tight you can use any wax with stellar results.
as mentioned above, Collinite845 has a great reputation for gloss and durability.

Thanks guys! I’ll stick with my Colonite! Taking delivery of the truck next week, hopefully the weather is nice so I can get a coat of wax on it.

 

I used Collinite 845 for 6 years on my Ruby Red. It looked better than new when I traded it for my 2018

 

I also use it on my current Magma Red..... Clay bar, DA polish to correct clear coat and remove swirls from dealer wash and then 845 every few months.
