Best truck battery brand?

I've had good luck with Motorcraft batteries right from the dealer. Usually average 6-7 years. And their price always seems to be competitive with any where else in the area.

FWIW, Motorcraft just within the last month, did away with the 100 month pro rated battery. Its now 36 month.
So far I've always had good luck with the Motorcrafts.
Thought I should add, "IF" you have a MC battery with the 100 month label, and it goes out MC does go ahead, and honor the "pro-rating" that is left on the battery, just not available any more through the new battery purchased.

My friend who worked as a service manager at at Sears automotive store for years (until Sears closed the store) always said there are really only three companies that make batteries...and brand them for private label. Looking at a recent Web search seems to confirm that...basically Delphi, Johnson Controls, and Exide make all the batteries. A Diehard battery is the same as a Duralast is the same as a Motorcraft, so on, so forth.
I tend to keep Motorcraft parts in a Ford, AC Delco in a GM, etc. I've always had great luck with Everstart batteries from Wally World (made by Delphi or Exide) in my boats. I've NEVER had an issue with ANY of the premium level batteries, i.e. those that aren't the entry level, plain Jane 12 month warranty versions. Any battery with a 36 month warranty is going to be a good battery, give you 4 - 5 years of service in most circumstance.

I hear those red AGM batteries (Odessy?) are now made in Mexico and that quality is hit and miss. I have no first hand experience with those. I will echo an earlier post by commenting that while I have owned a cornucopia of various manufacture brands, the cheap ones usually fail first. One bit of trivia: I was in an Advance Auto Parts store not very long ago and noticed they were selling DieHard branded batteries, confirming news reports that Advance had purchased the brand from the fire sale of formerly Sears holdings.
