Just picked up some of the Icon 17" wheels since they were a screaming deal, only need the TPMS to complete the package and get them installed

Is there a "#1 option" of TPMS to use? I'd assume going with OEM is the smartest way (although I've seen some bad reviews on the Motorcraft ones which is odd)

 

head over to rockauto, they seem to have the best prices on oem and aftermarket ones.

 

The biggest problem with any brand of TPMS is old batteries. Make sure the sensors haven't spent 3 or more years sitting on shelves before getting to you.

 

I'd recommend OEM....however I bought 4 new OEM sensors for $50 on Ebay and one was a dud.

 

Hadn't thought of that. I'll look for some OEM's and see if theres any way of verifying manufacture date

 

Me too. Had to ask for a replacement and have the tire shop replace it. Again.
