Here's the storage area I'm referring to.

The area runs from one side of the cab to the other, and is great for jumper cables, bungee cords, tow straps, etc. Accessing this space is accomplished by locating the release mechanism on the back of the rear seat. I had to stick my head out the rear window, and could barely fit my hand behind the seat, but I eventually was able to find the little lever, pop it, and fold the seat down. This is the lever I'm referring to.

After removing the 2 star bolts that hold it down, I drilled a hole through the silver bar that triggers the release, put a key ring metal circle through the new hole, then attached a short piece of parachute cord to it, and ran it up to the headrest. With the seat up, this is all you see.

Total investment
About 20 minutes work
Old piece of parachute cord
Key ring circle that I had laying around.

That qualifies as FREE in my book, and now I have somewhere to store stuff. There's a Youtube video that will walk you through the process if you need more detail. https://youtu.be/H74gtG1Ovmo?list=LL...JV-G9PBXlY0C1Q
exists on my 2016 as well...well it did before I put a 12" sub and amp back there.

Default Rear Seat Release

Thanks for the information regarding the release latch at the back of the seat. I also think there was someone else who made a similar post. However, I followed your directions and was surprised how easily the release pin was easy to drill without removing it. As you I had a spare key ring and some leather shoe lace to create the pull. Since I have a 16 Screw I saw that on the other side Ford put a quick release strap so you can access the jack behind the seat. Took all of 25 minutes to do. Will definitely add that needed space. Thanks again.

What about a 305/65/18? Your tire might have that mushroom look with 325's on a 7.5" wide rim.

I've got the same problem, PVD 18x7.5 rims. Smallest I've ever owned. Stock on my '07 were 20x8.5, then I put 20x9's on. The recommended rim width is to make sure they wear evenly across the tread width. What'll happen is while you're driving the outsides of your tread won't be making the same contact with the ground and will be wearing improperly. You may also have issues with the bead blowing, you'll have a lot of sidewall angle towards the rim, might cause the bead to blow if you hit a bump.

Does not look out of place at all. Matches the B-pillars almost exactly. Fit and finish make it very hard to tell its an add on part held on with 3m double sided tape. Looks very oem.

It's still here in the 15's. Now there's a short nylon loop to put your finger in. Still hard to find unless you have a pic like the one you posted. I tied some twine on mine for now. Thanks again!

I just installed the deezee tailgate assist. Super easy to install. Works great! $25 on Amazon
Dee Zee DZ43204 Tailgate Assist Shock (Ford F150) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AP2BNS0..._8oJKmuhQAGl2c

Also bought the Rubbermaid front seat organizer. Fits inside the huge arm rest compartment (rotated 90°) $10 @walmart

As for cell phone mount, I got this one. I didn't like the ones covering the air vent. I mount this on that smooth part below the coin thing to left of ac controls.
Phone just clears the shifter and knee. I have a Note5

I installed the Lamin-x yellow fog light covers at the end of November; they are great for illuminating snow/ice in clear or foggy conditions.

Last week I put the Husky mud guards on the front. Huge difference in keeping the side steps cleaner. Lots of cinder/slush/road debris on the way to Mt Hood and back. The rest of the truck is filthy, but the side steps don't have a collection of pebbles all over them. Each mod was less than $50.

My brother got me the tailgate piston for xmas; haven't installed it yet, but if it keeps the tailgate from slamming on my 2-year-old's head, that's a win. (no, it hasn't happened yet).
