Sorry, but in a collision, large bump in the road. I can't see these large phablets, staying on a magnet.

I have a Aukey magnetic mount type holder for my vent and it works great. I just used it on a short 3 hour trip for my GPS and it held it over bumps and potholes with ease. Only trick is that you have to slide your phone off and not pull it off. It will put the holder off the vent fin.

I ordered the other version that sits between the bezel and vent area - just decided I did not want it right in the screen and the minor Dremel work to be done for a fit happens on the back it of sight. Once I get it posted I'll also post pics

They secure via mounting screws that hold existing elements in - screen in the case of AndrewGS's

That's a neat device. I've seen them around for a few years now, so they're not new and I assume they are vetted. Still, what's it like having a strong magnet on the back of your phone all the time? Is it safe (must be) for the SD card?
