Also, did you swap your XLT steering wheel for a Lariats. For your wheel leather, looks far nicer than one in my 16 Sport xlt!

Thanks

And no, it's the stock wheel.

Sorry, but in a collision, large bump in the road. I can't see these large phablets, staying on a magnet.

No thanks.

It looks simple enough, but anything that blocks my AC vent is not a reasonable solution in my world.

I have a Aukey magnetic mount type holder for my vent and it works great. I just used it on a short 3 hour trip for my GPS and it held it over bumps and potholes with ease. Only trick is that you have to slide your phone off and not pull it off. It will put the holder off the vent fin.

Yeah, I thought about that one but didn't want to block the vent in any way. If it's not as bad as I'm thinking after seeing yours I might swap it out.

AndrewGS, does your Mount just 3m tape to the dash, or what?

Default mega magnet

That's a neat device. I've seen them around for a few years now, so they're not new and I assume they are vetted. Still, what's it like having a strong magnet on the back of your phone all the time? Is it safe (must be) for the SD card?

I have 4 of these in various places in the truck. I have two Galaxy Notes and a 12.2 Galaxy Note Pro that I'll have mounted anywhere on these. The extra ***** I have in the back when I'm loading something. I stick the phone on it temporarily while loading in the back.
