Pioneer 10" shallow sub with a small kicker amp. Plenty of bass and the seat folds up and locks with no issues.

Have any more info on this install? What box did you use? Other Pictures?

These are the only two other pics that I have. I made a cardboard mockup of the box first and then built it out of 1/2" birch plywood. It's a very simple sealed box, all the joints are glued and screwed. The inside is filled with polyfill and it's covered in black felt.

Not pictured is a small panel I built to cover all the wiring.

I have a JL 8" Microsub behind the seat on my 2020. I can't fold up the seat because it hits, but my sons car seat prevents folding anyway, so a covered bed is used for everything.

I'm about to list an MTI single, sealed box w/JL 10TW3 and Key 5001 to power it...

I did the dual 8 JL ported box behind mine (Drivers side). Same issue that the bottom seat will not raise all the way, but I am OK with that

So this is a sealed box, correct? Do you have any top, bottom, and length dimensions? Looks like what I’m after! Thanks

I don't have the dimensions. When things slow down later in the week I'll go measure it for you .It is a really tight fit, those two bars rub on the seat as it goes up and down.

And yes, it's a sealed box. Made from 1/2 birch plywood, guled and screwed together.

If I had to build it again, I'd probably use fiberglass for the back, instead of wood, just to get a little more space inside.

KIcker makes a shallow mount loaded enclosure that fits perfectly behind the seat. I have the 8" version and it's perfect to fill enough bass in an otherwise stock system. There is a 10" version that also fits but it's tight, and a 12" version that I cannot verify if it fits or not.
8" version #48TCWRT82
10" version #48TCWRT102
12" version #48TCWRT122
